Phil, Les and Dobbo had a bumper day at Moggerhanger with six fish being caught during the session, largest being a 25lb 8oz mirror carp caught by Phil and the smallest a 2.5lb bream caught by Les.

Phil fished the end peg on the road side and had a total of three fish, 11lb 8oz mirror, 25lb 8oz mirror and a 8lb 4oz common.

Les fished the third peg on the road side and returned a 2.5lb bream, a beautiful fish that gave him a really good fight (Lol). Unfortunately we do not have a photo of this fine specimen.

Dobbo fished the first swim on the road side and managed two fish a 19lb mirror and a common of approximately 7.5lb.

All in all it was an enjoyable day and although the weather was diabolical at times with torrential rain and thunder it did not take away the joy of having fish on the bank. All the carp fell to small boilies either popped up or fished on the bottom.
