Les and Dobbo thought they would give Crystal Lakes a try near Fenstanton.

The complex has been recently taken over and new fish introduced, first impressions are that it is a venue worth fishing from time to time but early and late season as the summer months from mid June to mid September they felt would see it being very busy due to the attached camp site.

They started fishing swims 18 and 19 on the spit with Dobbo moving to swim 17 later as a snag in swim 19 was being moved later that day.

Fish were showing well and both Les and Dobbo managed to get fish on the bank, Les having two fish and Dobbo one.

All in all a good day and certainly some where they will visit again. especially as the day ticket price for seniors was £8.00.
