Dobbo and Edward decided to have a few of hours (1.00pm to 4.30pm) at Moggerhanger, expectations were not high as the weather over the last week had proved that the carp were not really on the feed.

This proved to be the case with no indications of fish showing or bubbling. However, another angler a couple of swims down from high bank steps had seen fish first thing that morning but no runs. He did have one run with a carp from the far bank while they were there but lost it at the net, very disappointing for him having fished all day, one run, hooked it, then loose it, still we have all been there.

Although no fish on the bank it was a great opportunity for Edward to get some fishing in and he is now looking forward to an all night session once the weather warms up.
