As the water levels had dropped considerably Dobbo decided to fish the Great Ouse at Offord.
Although the river was still running hard Dobbo fished various swims in the Car Park Pool and had three pike all of them jacks on smelt, sardine and a small roach (no photos).
If possible Dobbo will fish it again next week and probably try the New Cut which he has not fished for many years. Sections A B and C are just about fishable but according to Barney (Baliff) it is very muddy.
Barney said that a letter this week had been sent to the Marina requesting they remove the chain from sections A B and C or legal proceedings would be taken.
