Due to Rob’s success last Sunday and with the grandchildren being on half term, Danny and Dobbo decided to fish Secret Lake with their grandchildren Noah and Edward.

Unfortunately Edward had to cry off at the last minute with a sore throat, however Noah did join Danny.

Although fish were showing in places and the odd liner was evident no fish fell to the rods until Dobbo hooked a nice 15lb 5oz Mirror, unfortunately this did not happen until Danny and Noah had left.

However, it was an enjoyable day, the sun shone (too brightly really), good food cooked on the bank and Dobbo is no longer El Blanco (for the time being).

Dobbo has a mascot to take fishing with him called “Lucky”, he did his job this time lets hope it continues.
